Edward Burrows Straw Man.
Really liked this even before I clocked that it was a bunch of blokes doing in a scare crow. Don't like his other work, too clean in a creepy plastic, pearly toothed sheen. This paintings crazy though. Really atmospheric, can hear the train rolling past and feel that bright overcast greyness, on wasteland somewhere in bleakest meakest up state. Nice.
